Meet the Team

Global Employment, Recruitment, Contracting & Consultancy for the Mining Industry

Who We Are

Mark Harris - CEO

Mark has held positions in management and presided over projects at various sites, Pilbara Port Headland, Dampier, Alcoa,Ti West, Kambalda, Wosley, Comalco.

Participated in off shore finance. Has lectured at semesters on marketing / Perth-Western Australia N.Z.Indo, Pacific and privately. Mark states, "you can have all the resources in the world all the produce at the farm but if you don't have a market and the mix right! its worth less."

Mark holds over 45 current (S.O.P) standard operating procedures in the mining site industry. He was in the first crew in Australia (State) (E.Z.industries) Rosebery (underground) mine that was commissioned in turn (mines department) for all data regarding the procedures (safely) conditions, of the use of anfo, cortex, and electronic detonators.

The trial existed for months, the conclusion being, the end of an era of the wax gelignite sticks and electric detonators. This is now the (S.O.P) standard operating procedures and materials used in most countries around the world.

Mark also worked with John Hall (engineer) and in turn, engineers from Prock International with the longest conveyor Belt system in the state of Tasmania - approximately 3-4 kilometres long and over a meter wide x 5 ply. This took 11 hot vulcanise splices that he worked on, and was designed for Mt Lyell Mining & Railway Co Ltd, Queenstown, Tasmania.

It is of note that this decline, regenerative conveyor with horizontal curve;(conveyor is regenerative due to a drop of 131 meters from the tail end feed to the head end discharge) is the only type in the country (Southern hemisphere). Certain mines would not be cost effective with out practical conveyor systems that reduces transport costs and wear & tear. Mark has taken part in (E.B.A.) enterprise bargaining agreement negotiations with the union and the mining company. He has established a career path for the drill & blast department, which is still in existence today.

He was in the First crew in Australia to use a remote control drill Rig Tramming and drilling by cameras, which has been a huge challenge for the mining industry but a progressive milestone - Advance technology taking us into the future with out standing successful results, regardless of the issues.
